- Your new pet has been examined by
Yorkieville's veterinarian, and must be examined
by your licensed veterinarian within three (3)
business days of purchase.
- Yorkieville offers a 72 hour
unconditional guarantee from the date of purchase
for a full refund (less $200.00 service charge
and any shipping costs) upon return of the
healthy animal.
- If within ten (10) days from the
date of purchase your veterinarian finds that
your pet has a minor, treatable problem,
Yorkieville will at our expense, have the animal
treated by our veterinarian, We will not be
responsible for any outside medical treatment,
including 911 emergency clinics. Animals are not
guaranteed to be free of worms or parasites.
Further care will be required by your
veterinarian and it is the responsibility of the
new owner.
- Yorkieville guarantees your pet to
be free from hereditary defects for one (1) year
from the date of birth. If within this time your
pet is diagnosed by your veterinarian as having a
debilitating hereditary defect, that in his/her
opinion prevents your pet from serving you as a
companion pet, Yorkieville will refund one half
of the purchase price or another puppy shall be
given as a replacement puppy upon the return of
the defected puppy. If your pet should die from a
hereditary defect, buyer must consult with
Yorkieville within 24 hours of any illness and
follow advice of Yorkieville's vet of choice
within 24 hours of death.
- There is no guarantee that your
pet is of show or breeding quality. Pet quality
animals come from the same litter as our breeding
and show prospects. Spaying/neutering your pet
will give him/her a longer and healthier life.
Buyer agrees to have this pet spayed/neutered at
or between the ages of 6 to 7 months. The AKC
Registration form will be withheld until
Yorkieville receives a statement verifying the
alteration from the veterinarian performing the
surgery. If you are interested in registering
your pet, please have your pet altered at the
recommended age.
- There is no provision for the
return of your pet on account of landlord
restrictions, marital problems, allergies,
personality conflicts, temperament, height,
weight or quantity of shedding. Yorkieville and
buyer certify by signing this contract that this
pet is not sold for resale purposes and that
Yorkieville will be notified if it is necessary
for this pet to change hands and right of first
refusal will be given to Yorkieville.
- The new owner agrees to: Annual
veterinary checkups, including heartworm check;
to keep all immunizations current according to
AVMA guidelines; to properly administer heartworm
prevention; to provide adequate housing according
to state law; to confine your pet to a fenced
yard or kennel run or walk on a leash but not
restrain on a rope or chain.
- If a heartworm preventative
containing Ivermectin (Heart Guard) is given to a
puppy weighing less then 4 lbs, all health
guarantees are void. The recommended preventative
for all size yorkies is Interceptor (Ciba-Goigy).
- For all claims the buyer must
return the registration papers, furnish x-rays,
vaccination history, and a written statement from
a licensed veterinarian stating the diagnosis.
Claims must be made within the warranty period
stated and are subject to verification by
Yorkieville's veterinarian.
